I know that during the 2nd w/warwhen soap was rationed, people used to recycle their soap scraps, you used to be able to get a soap mould/press and you would soak the scraps in water until they were soft, and then put them into the mould/press to form a new bar of soap, I dont know where you would get one now, try flea markets or junk shops.
